  15. I have a Gvp Scsi series II mounted into my a4000/40.  The board mount
  16. gvpscsi.device  3.7  in  rom, and it's too old for the a4000 (it works
  17. fine  on a2000) so i must load 4.15 via software, but ofcourse i loose
  18. the boot from scsi.

  20. I  desperately  need  a  4.x  ROM  (not  software, i need the rom!) or
  21. someone  who  could  program it for me (i think it's legal now because
  22. Gvp is dead, right ?). I want to buy it, no matter where you live.

  24. Also, what's the maximum transfer i can get with that controller on my
  25. a4000 ?  (i've 2mb on the board) I tested a 5,25 full size Seagate hd,
  26. and it was running at 800k/sec.  Tested the same hd on a2000 gvp combo
  27. 030/scsi  was  running  at  2.4  mb/sec.   It's impossible to get high
  28. transfer rates with gvp series II (zorro2) ?
